As architects and urban planners, we bear the responsibility of creating spaces that enable people to truly inhabit and engage with their surroundings, enhancing their lives in meaningful ways. We should design our interventions without losing sight of the humanistic purpose underpinning our work. It is crucial that we prioritize designs that genuinely benefit people’s lives rather than seeking to elevate our personal image through self-serving displays.
